Hello Blue Ribbon Bloggers - I've been hosting the BRB Entrecard widget for a couple months now, and frankly, I'm kinda burnt out on Entrecard. Jos had passed it on to me, and now I feel it's time for me to pass it on to another Entrecarder.
There's about 1,000 ec in the account right now to place ads for the site with, and the new host should be someone who can not only place ads but drop ec on other blogs to get publicity for BRB.
Any enthusiastic parties interested out there?

Mo, what would be involved in being the entrecard host for BRB? I would be happy to help out in some way as long as the role was fully detailed on what I would need to do! :-)
I visit entrecard daily, even though I haven't gotten fully back into blogging yet.

Basically, if you already have an Entrecard account, I would just transfer the BRB ec account to you.
Then you'd be responsible for purchasing ec ads for the site, approving ones that are purchased for BRB, and dropping some cards under the BRB name to get some publicity for the site out there.
A good estimate on time commitment is about an hour a week, once you get a routine of it.

As luck would have it, after I posted my reply to you, I decided to quit using entrecard. Basically, I've moved my blog to Tumblr and I am having difficulty integrating entrecard into it. I do not have an active entrecard account at this time but could make a new one if need be. I'm trying to simplify my blogging life and cut costs and use free services. The days of Polliwog's Pond and all that work are over for me now. :-) But, I could definitley devote an hour a week to this. One of the things I hoped for by not doing a "big blog" on my own anymore, is devoting a little more time to the friends I have made here and blog projects I'm a part of such as this one.
So, in a nutshell I'm happy to sill help out, but if Kim would be better suited for this task as she still has an entrecard account, I am cool with that too! Perhaps I can help another way?
I will look into separating BRB's entrecard out into a separate account and get back with you all.

Have you considered making that account shared? That way all of you could log in as you get a chance to do your drops and take turns spending the credits. Just a thought! I get burned out too doing all the drops on my sites (I have two) and it's hard to keep up. With multiple bloggers it would be nice sharing the load.
